big problem need help

Featured Replies

yesterday my octavia mk2 elegance came up with a warning light on maxidot saying "oil sensor workshop" its due service in 300 miles. so obviously the oil sensor in the sump is probably knackered, thats the start. now the climatronic unit displays, which show temperature for both sides does not light up, the buttons all light up but you cant see the display reading at night, next problem the blower has stopped working so climatronic not sending out any air, next problem the reverse parking sensor and reverse lights not working. checked the fuse in the side of dash which is fuse 4 that is for heating, climatronic and parking sensor 5 amp and was blown. so replaced it but as soon as i turn key the fuse blows straight away any ideas is the oil sensor causing all these other problems as i am getting it serviced and new oil sensor, any ideas people. thanks ps sorry about essay ha

The fuse issue could be the result of a short to earth somewhere perhaps? Could have been caused by water ingress somewhere?
