Replacement key fob

Featured Replies

Someone in the family, not me obviously, has lost one of the keys for my vRS. The very nice man at my local Skoda dealership (Hughes in Aylesbury) informs me that a replacement key will cost £150.00 and coding will cost £48.00

So, I can get a key with the correct part number from Ebay for about £30.00 and understand it is pretty simple to match up the central locking part, but how do I get the transponder coded? bearing in mind that I dont have the 4 digit key code!

Any help most appreciated.

You need VAG-COM and to obtain that 4 digit key code.

If you don't have the code or can't get it then it's dealer time for you pretty much.
