Any ideas for where to source A6 cruise control stalks? A mate's cruise has died and the dealer has diagnosed a faulty stalk and quoted £180 for the part only. The cheapest I have found is $47 on ebay but any other ideas?

Also how easy are they to fit - do they need coding if the car already has cruise fitted?

Finally any idea if the existing stalk could be repaired?

C5 or C6 A6? Should just be a replacement stalk, it's never been £180. I've never done cruise on an A6 but an A4 stalk is about £40.

It's on an 04 plate so C5... I've just checked with him and that was the quote so it sounds like the dealer was trying it on!
