I've got the roadcraft book but am aware that reading it without being shown could be more 'dangerous' than not reading it at all..

Yup. I know he doesn't like to brag about his credentials, but suffice to say he's an observer for the RoSPA North Wilts group and he's also undertaken a lot of driver training beyond RoSPA Gold to take his driving that bit further

And there's also Paul (smstext) in Oxford

Nooooo. Just RoSPA. My current associate has just got a job as a civvie instructor for West Mercia, though. Lucky git!

I did a wheelspin in Hereford once on Michelin Pilots with 1.7mm of tread left

Unfortunately I've not had time to arrange anything yet, but was going to give him a ring this following week and hopefully go out in a week or two.

Too much freelance work & buying old beemers = no time!
