right just got my tek at work to have a look at my car and he thinks that i might have to change my front leg as its a little squicky.........

i have been wanting to lower it four a while now to but i want to get the right stuff.

my tek has been saying that within new laws that are inplace now that any mod done on a car ,has to be tried and tested, reseated by the company saying that its is ok and safe to run on that car, is this true ???

i was looking at getting apex spring/shock kit but there not for the vrs spesificly

i no ebich and h&r do but there not cheap, is there any 1 else???

ohh ...... also is it true as the vrs is 20mm lower than the average fabia , do u actualy get the full drop stated on the discription ,ie 35mm drop would i only get 15mm drop???

and also after u change the ride hight do u have to get the camber checked ???

You will need to get a suspension setup designed for the vRS, if you dont the spring poundage rating will be all wrong and the ride height will be wrong and the handling will be all wrong. The Fabia vRS has a very heavy diesel lump at the front and as others have found out, the wrong suspension is very bad for the car.

Hi,

Apex do make a model specific kit for the Fabia VRs but isnt listed in most of the catalogues as it is a 'special'

A friend of mine has a brand new kit in the box that he never got round to fitting as someone drove into his car recently and he hasnt found out whats happening with the insurance so he may well sell it. PM me and I will be happy to pass on his details

I also have this kit on my VRS and I am extremely happy with it, better than my old koni/eibach setup and miles better than all of the cheap coilovers that are available!
