hi was just wondering if anyone has bought the superb s 1.4 or had a test drive in one?

just wanted to know if there are anyone who can give any info on this model?

the reason i asked was i quite liked the idea of going for the 1.4 model and having loads of the options available and still keep the price below an se spec model...any info would be much appreciated:)

Can't help you personally but have a look in the Owners Register post - I am sure there is at least one 1.4 in ther - maybe you could PM the owner and ask him for feedback?

I have had a test drive with the 1.4 superb and i liked it. I originally thought that it would be lame and heavy but it felt like driving my neighbor's new audi 1.8 tfsi ! I liked the handling and the power was good for my likes.

So i ordered the 1.4 cappuccino beige metallic with lots of extras (elegance, bolero, park assist etc) and it is arriving in a week :rainfro: . I will be able to write more details when it comes to my garage.

If you can't afford the 1.8 then this is a very good solution..

I own a superb II 1,4 tsi since January. I am really very pleased from the car overall. The engine is really magic, it is like a 2,0 non turbo, with the difference that it gives you very high power even from 1500 rpm.

Really good choice.
