That's one way he had to justify it, but I think quietly he finds them as much fun as the 172 but don't let on you know.

well sorta mine was better than most as mine had a different map as standard for some reason :s all 172's had a moment of lag at about 3750 for about 500 rpm there the power drops off then ramps back up mine dropped off a tiny bit then went straight back up so no flat spot it was odd but hey

I'd imagine that was when it comes on cam, or is that at 5.5k?

well it starts at about 4k on mine but on others about 4250-4500
