Nice restoration project.

While picking up some show plates for Skodaboy and Skodagirl I spotted this outside my mates workshop.

A rather nice Daimler, bought by someone with a neighbouring unit. Would be nice to see it back to it's former glory.

Looks quite nice and solid! The Daimler used a 2.5 V8 instead of the XK series 6-cyl didn't it?

One of these lives near me in the most glorious red, looks gorgeous on the road :)

On a similar topic, my old boss has a 1957 XK150 roadster, also in red. Surprisingly brisk and agile, and the noise with the top down is something to behold! Maybe not quite as much as his other toy (Shelby Cobra replica, 5.7l Ford Cleveland V8, mahooosive side exhausts :D), but quite something nonetheless.

Don't you just love those low profile tyres ?

Would look great restored though
