vRS / RS

Featured Replies

Hi peeps

Sorry but this is a bit of a noob question but,

I'm on the hunt for an actavia vRS, however some of them are advertised as being an RS. Are they the same car.

Thanks

Yes

They are the same, some refer too them as RS and others vRS.

HTH

vRS is predominantly used in the UK following objections by Ford to the use of the RS trademark.

RS is more common elsewhere.

The search facility will provide an answer to your next question - What does vRS stand for?

Thanks guys

Bloody Hell, the theme for my night tonight seems to be 'blast from the past"! I remembered asking exactly this this question back on Vortex in 2002! Did a search and it was my first post on the Skoda sub-forum there.

VWvortex Forums: difference between RS and vRS?

Yeah it's really an RS, vRS is a uk thing. In Ireland it's an RS.

So if the V is for Victory, it's a Winston Churchill RS

do they use different badges in other countries?
