What Discs and Pads to get?

need new brake pads/discs soon and just wondering what to get? not got a great deal to spend, not enough for 312mm brakes unfortunately

what do you recommend though?

Just stick with the OEM parts for a standard car.

If you do a search you will find with pads to stay away from EBC, especially Greens, and use Ferrodo DS2500s but they are quite expensive @ over £100 per set. Alternatively use Mintex or even as mentioned OEM Skoda stuff.

As for Discs, it depends on how you drive. Plain ones are perfectly adequate for normal driving, however choose grooved ones like the above ones if you drive Briskly.

I've just bought some standard EBC discs and pads for £90 from demon tweeks...

How do I save the settings?

Kodiaq 2026 PHEV I set the lane control to 'Off', set the alert control to 'off', and various other settings that I want. But when I next switch the car on, all my settings are lost and I have to re-set them. This is a complete pain in the ass. How do I save the settings so that they stay set?

I am having problems with the rear offside door lock on our 2018 Super 2.0L SE Technology diesel estate. The drivers door switch panel includes the two child lock buttons. When locking the car the rear offside door remains unlocked, therefore we have to keep it locked via the small turn screw on the edge of the door. Having looked into new lock prices, I decided to try a second hand one from a 'reputable' supplier, only to find that this replacement is doing the same thing. I conclude therefore

Hi all, My RH headlight is not self leveling, whereas the LH is. I therefore assume it is not the suspension sensors as I believe these feed both. Is there something like a poor connection that can affect one side? Hope someone can help me track down the problem. The car has had the headlight removed when the condenser was recently changed, if that has any significance. Thanks
