Posted this in a different thread, but now realise the thread title made it it look like I was buying a Fabia.

hope they do something exciting with the lights and stuff! :) like the bumper though...shame the rest doesnt go with it very well!

I can imagine the final version will have further cosmetic changes, but at least it does seem to suggest that they are doing something in terms of a new vRS.

Nice too see you there Lady E.

You still care about us after all :):)

Hiya. Long time no see. I missed you!! :D

This front + the bits we saw on the Red & Black car............I still say single Turbo 150 BHP+7 speed DSG.

I liked the seats in the Mark 1, i hope they don't fit full Rally jobs.

Mike

PEA ROAST! already been uploaded! And as i posted in the other thread, i wondered how long it would be before someone would put up another thread "new vrs spotted" etc...

You're back then :D

Good to see you here again, it's been getting boring without you

Thats disgusting !!!

Why ? Just Why ? that is so not sexy at all !

I'm glad I bought my Mazda MPS 3 in White

Sorry Skoda, that looks awful...

Its a spy pic of a (possibly disguised) prototype - just to show they are working on it and doing some kind of performance monitoring / testing.

I don't think anyone is suggesting thats how the final thing will look from a cosmetic point of view

 - as Andy says that won't be how it'll end up looking! Seriously....

They'll have been doing endurance or specific component testing, perhaps test suspension setups - who knows. But certainly things that don't require the car to look pretty.

Steve

I hate the look of the Fabia II ... sorry to all those that have one ...

I don't think a vRS of the new model will make me change my mind unless it has wide arches and 200+ bhp. If that does happen then I'll be getting an Octavia vRS instead

Don't tell me that there are people here who think it will be baby poo brown with wires and sensors hanging out and 13" rims etc etc ..... the pic is a test mule. :):):)

Created just for you mate, by the loving tech's at Skaudi.

With Skoda heading up as the affordable end of the vag stable, I think I have a better chance of getting home, finding the mrs has transformed into Megan Fox, is gagging for it and brought in Scarlett Johannsen for backup tag team action once I'm spent, than a wide arch 200bhp Fabia vRS being produced :)

And yet strangely not that much worse looking than a real quattro Sport!

 Precisely my point...I won't be buying it!

I'm sure when they've finished setting the mechanics of the car up they will move onto the comestic stuff straight away. They've got long enough to get it right!

They do need to make it look exciting though to make it sell as the normal Fabias do look very friendly and not very aggressive.

By the time they finally sell the mach 2 vRS i'll be a grandad and Im only 28 FFS ! Skoda get your rear component in gear !

If it's a Mach 2 vRS, then put me down for a dozen please, it's going to be cheaper than Lightning I was thinking of buying :)

Is that this one.....
