Cheers everyone, love the car to bits,it's very torquey and powerful in all gears, good ride, very comfortable, not too soft or too hard, looks a milion dollars, very well screwed together, very good aircon system, the only drawback is the gruffy noise the engine makes especially when cold ..... Kept up with a guy driving a WRX yesterday,he was constantly shifting gears,I was only flooring fourth gear, when the turbo kicks in the car flies, previous owner fitted something like a black small squarish box which connects to the engine's harness,he bought it from e-bay,apparently this senses cold air forcing more fuel to enter the engine at all times, after he installed it he said the performance of the car changed completely, anyone of you ever fitted one of these and what is the actual performance gain ?.I will post a pic of said item ....

Nice car, but whatever you do, dont fit one of those cheap ebay resistor boxes. They will constantly light the check engine/emissions light on the dash and if left in place can cause damage to the engine because of the overfulelling. Basically it runs the car too rich along with all the issues that causes. Get a proper remap that alters the timing and air/fuel mixture properly along with altering the boost from the turbo which is where most power gains are obtained.
