Can anyone give me the part number for just the outer/painted section of the VRS grille?

Got a chip missing on the top corner of mine so looking to replace it. There are complete grilles for sale on ebay for about £50 but not sure if genuine?

Also surely the one piece from the stealers is gonna be cheap?

how bout askin some of the people on the ebay who are breaking octavias? i got a few bits from them and have been very happy so far fella and i got everything i needed. there's 1 called audivwauctions or summin like that mate, would this be worth a try

The part number is 1U0853665A or 1U0853665A GRU if you want to buy it primed.

Personally I think ebay would be cheaper. The chrome inner piece alone is about £50

Get a complete one in the right colour if you can... trust me

A bolt went through mine and after paying for the outer grille, painting, a new badge (my one had gone blue so I guess this was an extra) the bill was already racking up.

I then managed to crack the chrome bit trying to seperate the three bits of the grille because all the plastic tabs are covered by the chrome bit that clips in last making it a pig to seperate.

In summary, about £150...
