Has anyone else had a warning for airbag malfunction? Mine came on at 148 miles.

I had one because I disconnected the passenger airbag warning light(the one that lights when you turn it off) when I changed my Bolero.It was enough to clear the error using VCDS.

Airbag warning light came on after 169, 000 miles on my 1300 felicia. I used VAG Com on my laptop to cancel code but came on again while engine was running, next both headlamp low beam lights blew at same time. I measured the voltage across the battery terminals and found it to be 14.65 V instead of 13.40. I replaced the voltage regulator on the alternator. The part cost £30 from local Skoda dealer. Easy to fit so long as you hold down the spring loaded brushes with a piece of sewing thread which can be easily removed. Canceled fault code. Everything is back to normal.
