I have a 03 octavia estate 4x4 have owned 3 years and since had it the temp geuge lives in world of its own.You drive along one minute the geuge reads norm the next it goes to zero.And sometimes it goes up and down like a yo yo. Any of you fine people out there any idies what might be wrong.

thanks for that hope is that and not the geauge knackred.

If it's just the temp guage doesn't work right, it's probably the sensor. "Guage faults" tend to be in the PCB and affect them all.

Not expensive part £22 ish + VAT , get the seal too , that is only £1 ish

Then all will be better

The fuel economy could be effected too
