Antiroll-bar

Featured Replies

Hi , just been having a clean up around the motor and noticed the collars

on the anti roll bar are starting to come away . I know i will have to replace this soon

, just wondered if there is a better one than the standard one ?

i think eibach do a kit for the fabia (just the front tho) this is probably uprated???

chris

Also Whiteline do an uprated front as well as the rear

I have them both on my car

Stunning!!!!!

Sarah

That's interesting - didn't realise Whiteline did the front also. Do they use the same method (collars on the bar) to stop it from sliding from side to side??

although i think they are both about 3 times the price of an OEM item.... :(

Uprated, specialist items are usually more expensive . . . not always but usually!! lol.

yeah but 3 times the price i couldn't really.....

.......handle

I'll get my coat!

Mine needs doing ...

How much is the standard one for comparison ?

Rick

standard ones are about £50

Yes standard one last time I priced it was £48.63 + VAT

The bushes £1.98 + VAT each (2 required)

The bracket £3.95 + VAT each (2 required)

Hope that helps?

Sarah

Hum, just been quoted "about £300" to do it by a local garage ....

Methinks I will look elsewhere

The fronts are quite difficult to fit though I am afraid :(

Then you would need the geo afterwards

But yes , a tad expensive

Look around and see what you can get ;)

Sarah

Just phoned them and they'll throw in the console bushes at the same time for the £ 300 so not so bad ...

 good price , do it ;) (if it includes the parts , that is superb)
