Very tidy mate :D

Nice one, and the right colour too. Like the seats as well :)

Another week another new car for Simon...:P:D:D:D

Just kidding mate

Looks very nice and an excellent choice

Not had one myself, but they are supposed to be a proper drivers car

Look after it, it should be a good buy for someone in July

Enjoy it, and FFS take it steady in this one

Cheers

 im terrible with keeping cars

dont worry its a hell of alot more forgiving than the 200sx was

its very involving to drive but it can do some unreal things around corners, the noise at 9000rpm is pretty good too

I likey that :thumbup::)

awesome those old school VTEC's. What mileage has it got on it?

My mate has a red one and I also am amazed how well it goes around corners. Nice piece of kit and good to see one of the rarer UK spec cars.

edit : Thought you might like a pic of his and mine on a run up near Whitby.

its currently on 98k miles

98K? Has it had any work done on the engine i.e. a rebuild? I ask as my friend was thinking about a rebuild at around 100k.

no work at all, the engines are super bombproof with regular oil changes.

theyre good for well over 200k, tell you mate not to bother unless its broke!!

infact i know of people on the honda integra forum with 150k mile dc2's and they are just as sweet as they where when they left the factory

I told him that there was no need as it feels and sounds amazing when 'making progress'. If only my car could handle and sound like that....

Hi

Shame on you, go away and flogg yourself !!!!

Nice car mate :D Hope you enjoy it :D

just thought id update the thread, the cars still going A1 no problems to report at all.

after a few months of getting to know the car ive soon learn just how quickly these cars will go especially on a twisty bit of road, ive embarrased quite a few much more expensive cars over the last few weeks alone.

i went to a meeting on sunday and so went to town saturday afternoon on the car and did the following....

rinsed the car and wheel arches thoroughly

washed the car using zymol shampoo via the 2 bucket method and megs mitt one panel at a time

washed the wheels and arches with a seperate sponge

rinsed the car again

clayed the car with megs clay kit

rinsed again

dryed the whole car with one new autoglym chamois, dryed the wheels, door shuts and engine bay with another chamois

1 x layers of autoglym super resin polish

1 x layer of collinites 476 wax

dress the tyres

then i went over the car with some quick detailer and a microfibre before i set off.

here some pics of the car at the meet yesterday and then some that i took earlier today, hope you all like....

Looking very nice there!

I thought they were all white? Did they change the colour scheme later?

:D That road on your Monday pics looks terribly familiar.

Nice choice

Nope, not DC2s anyway. Red/white/black available.

Are you thinking of a DC5? Think the UK cars are all white? :rubchin:

mines a UK model and when the UK ones where originally produced in 1998 they only came in championship white with red recaro seats and white alloys, then in 1999 honda introduced milano red and nighthawk black pearl both came with black recaro trim and anthracite alloys

white is the most common colour in the UK models but the red recaro trim doesnt wear too well and the white wheels tend to be hard work to clean, the red and black ones are much rarer.

Be sure to call in at the brewery next time you're over there. I recommend 24 bottles for 35 quid (12 of sixer and 12 of blonde).

I know it's a not a Pontiac, & it may just be me, but don't you just want to put a flashing red light in the bonnet, that goes from side to side.
