Hi all

A while ago I asked a few questions on here about buying a Felicia as a 2nd car, well I bought 2, 97R 1.3lxi and now a 99S 1.3gli. The new one has a few problems so I wondered if I could pick your brains.

1. Airbag light is on, I suspect this is due to previous owner swapping his steering wheel over before selling

2. Drivers door barrell just spins, c/locking works ok from passenger side

3. HRW not working, the indicator light on dash doesn't even light up

4. Rear fogs not working, checked bulbs and fuse all okay, again no indicator on dash lighting up

5. Temp gauge has mind of its own, didn't move this morning for 15 miles, stopped to refuel, started again, it flicked up to 90 degrees briefly then went back to bottom, out this afternoon it flickered around 75. Does this gauge directly control whether the cooling fan cuts in or not because my concern is whilst I can live withour the gauge I don't want the car to overheat in traffic because the fan doesn,t cut in,

Of course the benefit of the new one is power steering, the lxi was only bought as a temp measure until I could find a nicer one.

rear screen not working, could be wires broken in the rubber between body and tailgate. Sounds like thermostat is stuck open or missing. Airbag will need looking at for MOT
