Just been washing the car and noticed the bonnet has been chipped,I can see the yellow undercoat. How can I get this sorted??.

Halfords or a dealer should be able to supply a small kit to touch it up

As Babs says, dealers sell a touch up kit including colour and lacquer - think there're around £6. Apparently the brushes are too fat to do a good job - I wouldn't know having not taken it out of the packaging...

Head to HobbyCraft and get a Citadel or Humbrol model paint brush, should make it easier to do a better job

the Halfords touch ups are fantastic, the tip of the paint is super small like a syringe

Must have about 10 chips like that covering the bonnet/wings and front doors... Think skoda used watercolour paints on the fabia

Do it the easy way. Mix the paint and lacquer together 50/50 and use a cocktail stick. Apply paint till it is slightly proud of good paintwork. Leave it to harden for 24 hours, then cut back with T-Cut or Swirl X Farecla G3 etc. Almost invisible.

VAG paint is actually very hard, but chips due to the galvanized panel finish. Paint is indeed water based, but very hard.

I had a 911 last year (thats the credit crunch for ya!) which had loads of stone chips and this stuff was fantastic - very easy to use and great results (much better than any touch up paint I've used in the past). Will try and find the before and after photos I took.

Only problem being you have to import from the states so delivery makes it a tad expensive... £65 delivered. However I've been playing about with prices and if you order 10 you get free delivery and a 10% discount which makes it £32 delivered (much more palitable!)

So..... anyone interested in a group buy? I assume you can order different colours but should look into this. If a better known member wishes to organise a group buy then please feel free and count me in - if not I may have a go myself (although not arranged one before).
