As long as they are the correct rating you will be OK, but they must be black :)

I think the short answer is as posted above - if you'd like a pay out then declare the mod! Genius answer mate:thumbup:

In recent years I have declared two mods, towbar and cruise control. Two insurance companies have told me that the towbar doesn't need to be delcared (though I would still recommend anyone fitting one tells their insurance as a matter of course) but cruise control, despite being a genuine Skoda kit and option, did need to be declared. However, it added nothing to the policy either time.
