some nice pics there, nice to see a lotus carlton looking in good nick, remember when i was buying my vrs me and the salesman got talking about them, he said where he worked at the time a guy came in, put a £5k deposit on one, when it arrived they could not get in contact with him and they never heard from him again

My Mid 90s fantasy, Id still have one today. (Kidney anyone?)

saw an old GSI3000 (an impressive machine in its own right) on ebay that had the full lotus interior and exterior, it looked 100% like a genuine lotus carlton, the only thing that gave it away was the engine (and the numbering of course), I was soooooo tempted.

Wonder if that would come under 'mods' for insurance lol

The VRS def looks the underdog in that lot
