Someones nicked my vrs grille badge

Featured Replies

After a couple of years of 'negotiation' i finally convinced the wife that I needed a newer car and I bought a 56 reg blue octy vrs (petrol) a couple of weeks ago and the car is fantastic

however someone's pulled the vrs grille badge off. Does anyone know how much they cost/ how easy they are to fit?

I've just replaced mine as it was all scabby and minging, it was about £8 I think and sticks on with double sided tape type stuff. Dead easy.

That could be the work of Pete8tch

He was known to be after one

Just kidding :D

Seriously though, thieving scumbags! Hope they get galloping kn0b rot!

Have you looked on fleabay? they do come up from time to time for around £10

Keep checking on there, or I'm sure the local dealer could get you one.

Best of luck sorting it, and good choice of colour car :)

Cheers

Damian

Yep definitely about £8 (Just found the invoice £7.57 + VAT) I had to replace mine too a month or two ago, Sparshatts Skoda in Fareham, my local dealer, had to order one as 'its not usually held in stock'

Part number is 1Z0 853 679 A LAQ, comes in 2 parts, a backing plate which you stick to the grill with evostik, then the badge sticks on top of that with double sided tape like shark_90 says.

I agree with the choice of car colour too!

Hope thats of some help,

Gary

i know how you feel mate, some people are just toss pots. Recently my metal dust caps got nicked

Thanks for the replies guys I'll get one ordered asap. Let's hope the new one doesn't meet the same fate.

i got one a while back for under £8 with not much change, but personally leave it off then less chance of interest from the undesirables.
