I spoke to Duggie_Kent about it a while back and we were thinking of meeting at the Clackett Lane services on the M25 and heading up from there, as it's handy for people coming up the M20 from South East Kent, over the bridge from Essex, or along the M2 from North Kent (Des )

It should take about 2 and a quarter hours and we probably want to be there a bit before 9 to get the cars in the right places as per Johns plan. There is also a South Central convoy meeting somewhere on the M40 so we could try and join them en route (once they've decided when they're meeting)

Is a 6:00 meet at Clacketts to leave around 6:30 about right? Any suggestions welcome, and please post below if you are coming and want to join the convoy.

which way from m25? m4 or m40 as there is another thread about about meeting up on the m40 at services northbound too. maybe meet up there as well?

Yeah I think if we can meet at Clacketts about 6, as long as we can get away before 6:30 we can meet the other convoy at Oxford services just before 8 for a quick break.

It's only a couple more junctions on from there to the junction for Gaydon.

We'll meet in the carpark in front of the restaurants etc. at about 6:00, then stick around until just before 6:30 before heading round the M25 to Oxford services on the M40 to meet up with the South Central convoy.
