I'm running standard suspension though ??????

Ah, that may be the issue then.

Just taking yourself and Des as examples:

You - Standard suspension = more suspension travel = kills bushes

Des - Coilover suspension = less suspension travel = bushes live

That said, Bowders and Octavia Vrs! are on coilovers and also having this issue. But then their was a guy in the other thread who has a Race TT and he has no issues. Most odd.

the difference was the edges that used to perish before are alot stronger than the old ones stopping the arm riding of the bush and fecking it........

and the fit is alot tighter than the old ones:thumbup:

Im not gonna be able to get them fitted for a while yet. Just busy all the time at the moment. Maybe do it in the evenings next week As i dont use the car often its okay just to sit in my workshop with all the parts off while i change them as time allows.

Will try and do a fitting guide for them all as i go.

Yeah, your car is too clean and shiny, you just dont drive it hard enough.

I would swap but could really do with a car that has rear door cards. Oh well :(

I will be down there tomorrow ........to replace the Powerflex bushes that are all falling off the car..............Naaaaaart!

des how many miles has your car done since you fitted them???

also if you drive like you did at castle coombe then they will be fine for many a year :rofl: :P

I fitted tham at about 50k, the car has done 159k now. Maybe they will just fall off the car at 200k or 300k. :eek:
