Just come back from a trip up north and on the way up got Ø81.6 (average) for the 175 mile journey according to the trip computer. Was driving between 50–70mph depending on traffic conditions (M6 is a nightmare) using cruise control. I just love my vRS.

Yeah, the "mileage left" readout was 755 miles at one point.

but got from london to newcastle and back on less than a tank too, not bad, what a car

i took the polo to germany and done 1 tank to get there and 1 to get home!

clocks were saying over 80mpg but when you work it out by filling it and working it out it worked out at 50mpg!
