Anyone have a pic of a race blue RS with Colour code grill?

Thinking of getting mine done.

Thanks

Also if you check out Maters vRS in Members Cars, he has the grille and outer lower grilles colour coded

Edited by damo :-)

IMO colour coded grill surrounds look great on black but personally I wouldn't bother on any other colour.

Black is good I agree.

Really suits red as well IMO

My red one looked fantastic on my last car anyway

Blue doesn't have such a dramatic effect as those two unfortunately :(

Thanks for the pics guys. The reason I wanted to see some pics was I know a guy who said he would colour code it for €70.00 and the two outsie grills too if I wanted. I'm not sure what to do now. I do think it looks best on a black and red car even white, but I am undecided about the colour code in blue.......

Have to agree with you

Lets just say, its not something Im rushing to do on this colour

How about a black grille on a blue?

Seen a red fabia with a black grille and it looked great

Although, personally I will be saving the money and putting it towards other mods, as blue and silver looks ok IMO anyway.

Cheers

Damian

Red, Blue and Black dont look bad imo.

Wish i could have afforded, to buy your red mk2 damo!

Not my car but it's what I did.

Mmmmmmmm Decisions, decisions. I think I get the chrome and the two outside grills painted.

I think the chrome being painted blace wwould male the grill look too big ...

I'll hope to get it done this week :-)

I think this really suits black but having seen the blue and red they look fantastic too.

How dare you :mad::mad::mad:

How very dare you use my car pictures without my permission :mad::mad:

Only kidding.:P:P:P

After seeing other Race Blue vRS now with the Chrome grill i definately will always colour code the grill if i ever buy a new vRS.

The outer lower grills (IMHO) make the front look a bit meaner as the Black is more in an Audi-esque style 'V" shape. However you have to leave the inner side of them black (i.e. the bits the point towards the centre of the lower grill) otherwise it gives the impression the lower middle grill is broken. (it did to me anyway as i left the masking tape on to see which would look best and the black edge looked better)

Sorry, a bit late to this thread. Thanks to brymar for putting that link to my thread in :)

So that theres some of mine within this thread here are some of my pics. Old green grille taken from my L&K, bottom side grilles sprayed in a shameless copy of maters :D

ive got some more on my pc that ill put up later

Oh no, this thread has got me wondering again after I''d dismissed it as a bad idea - I'd convinced myself that it doesn't work on race blue either, but now I'm not so sure.

Totally agree,I've been looking for a black or blue vrs and if I'd got the black one I would have had it done but I bought a blue one so won't bother.
