Nice

Very nice. Does the EGR deletion make difference in everyday driving?

looks good

How do you connect the stainless steel pipe to the intercooler? Is it just some hose over/between the ends of the two pipes and clipped. As wja96 said any difference? or just doing this to stop rubbish getting through from the egr?

Is the filter loud?

Sorry about all the questions, looks nice.

Cheers guys.

The stainless steel pipe is connected to the intercooler pipe by a jubilee clip. You have to remove the original crappy connections from the pipe first though.

Car seems a lot smoother and is faster, probably the air filter though more than anything.

Filter isn't loud, infact you hardly notice it, slight more rumble and the turbo seems to whistle a wee bit louder.

Hi Yohan, Neat install, Im in the middle of doing the exact same mods minus the intake! Is the small black pipe coming off the Samco above your boost gauge tube? If so where have you run this to get inside the car? I was looking yesterday and looks like you have to remove the dash to use the grommit behind the instument cluster that you can see on the bulk head from the engine bay.

Thanks, John

/\ i would say the black hose is the small breather hose that attatches to the oem airbox...

on mine i just jubileed a breather filter to it from ebay and cable tied it out of the way :)

Nah the airbox breather is behind the last jubilee clip on the right I think

hmm duno what it is then... if its a boost guage hose it should be on the intercooler piping ;)

has deleting the ERG not flashed your engine light up?

has deleting the ERG not flashed your engine light up?

Will do eventually but probably not straight away, Im fully expecting it and a bit of engine shudder on shut down but has to be worth it knowing you've got lovely clean air! Pretty sure the CEL Light can be mapped out, anyone know how much this costs?

Hey,

It's the vacuum hose from the OEM airbox, just fed it in there as I don't have a breather filter for it.

The EGR light came on a few hours after I did the mod so when I get it mapped I'll get it coded out. There is a bit more shudder on shut down, sometimes it is more noticeable than others.

Cheers

Whats the green air filter like ?

Considering one for mine after seeing this as there alot cheaper than the BMC !

very nice - the green intake - where did you get it from, how much and how does it sound???

Cheers

Bas
