When trackdays go bad

Featured Replies

Suprised the Aston was allowed out as at the track days I do convertibles have to have a roll bar/hoop.

I think the DB9 has a "pop-out" roll bar if it senses a roll over is imminent.

As for the incident - that is an inherent risk with trackdays. I've only ever done trackdays in a car I could rebuild in any accident for under a grand (my 205) and with 3rd party insurance in case I prang someone else. Having said that, of couse I don't drive like that would be likely. In fact only time I have crashed on an actual trackday was when I was driving my mate's Elise. That was a hard one to live down!
