Apologies for being such a usless begger when it comes to cars. Im looking to get my VRS a little more beefy (not boy racer just a little bit more throat). I dont want to change the standard Tip as i like the look of this (and dont want my insurance to see lol) what can i do/buy to add more grunt?

remove the cat cut it open remove the "guts" and weld it back up with a section of pipe where the guts used to be

or buy a de cat down pipe

...or you could remove the centre silencer box and replace with a straight through pipe...

...which has the big advantages of being able to pass the MoT, and not illuminating the CEL.
