cheers for your comments i love the plate but its wether its worth putting it on the gap between the 7 and owd is more on my plate ive got on now than this one in the picture i was told the spacing was 15mm between letters? although i like this plate i mite keep to the original?? :( like you say theres alot worse i dont think its as suspect as some.:confused:

My misses used to have T11YP R but the R was on the bottom line on the square rear

She was pulled once but that was becuase the letters were smaller (not something we ever noticed) and on top of that neither the front or rear had the details of the maker

The coppers let her go, but in the 4 years she has had the plate thats the only issue. No problems with MOTs either. I think its down to luck and not driving like a tw*t. I have a personalised plate, but its always spaced correctly so I have no worries. I would quite like a pressed metal one so glad someone does legal ones

Have a look a the DVLA leaflet I linked to in Post #23 above.

Space between characters should be 11mm, but 33mm between groups.

The styles (showing group spacings) are...

Current - AB51 ABC

Prefix - A123 ABC

Suffix - ABC 123A

Dateless - 1 ABC or ABC 1
