Keyless entry

Featured Replies

Hello everyone

New to the site, found it whilst trying to find information on retro-fitting keyless entry and button start/stop to my Superb.

Does any one know of a system that I can install?

Am I right in thinking that the superb is a A6 under the skin?

Does it share A6 parts?

Does the A6 have the keyless entry and start/stop button?

Thanks

Tom

Hi Tom

Welcome to Briskoda.

You have logged into the New Superb Mk2 (i.e. hatchback) forum and I guess you wouldn't be looking to make these mods to a car less than 1 year old  so I assume you have the "Mk 1" boot-only version - as had many of us in here had before we upgraded !

There is a forum specifically for the Superb 1 and a lot of knowledgeable people around here so I am sure you will get good advice - sadly I cannot help with the retrofit questions!

So try also posting your message on the "Superb" forum for maximum exposure on the type of car you probably have - am sure you will get help.

The Superb 1 is basically on a stretched Passat platform - stretched by about 10cm IIRC and all of it seems to be in the back. The stretch gave it I believe a longer wheelbase than the original A6 but I am fairly sure not as wide

Welcome again !
