Got my new toy

Featured Replies

Well i finally got my Fabia vRS friday morning after the 4 week wait. (I must be the worlds most impatient person :P)

I ordered one in black with cruise, xenon's, revo and eibac springs.

Everything went ok apart from my debit card being refused so i had to ring the bank and get the transaction approved which took an extra 10 minutes but i was worth it

Left the dealers and drove straight to JBS to pick up a green filter. Met James who was really nice and had a good chat with him and he let me fit it in his car park before i left. Then it was off for a drive :D

What can I say.....wow!

The revo has changed the car completely. It drives nothing like the standard one i test drove 4 weeks ago!

I've had a few squirts of the throttle but i'm trying to go steady for the first 1k miles but i will tell you this, it even wheel spins in 3rd in the wet which is a crazy feeling!

The green filter makes the turbo sound a little nicer, you can hear it whistle now when you slow down and speed up which is nice.

Since friday i've done 315 miles and i'm still grinning when i drive it

I don't know if anyone else found this but the wipers where crap until I autoglim'd all the windows....There was some kind of brown wax all over them which took ages to get off.

Well she's in my garage now and I'm gonna try and leave it until tomorrow before i drive her again. I don't know about anyone else but I've never felt like driving so much in my life :P

I feel like going out again now :D

Pics here : New Toy

Had mine since thursday from 2.5miles on the clock to 356miles now :) Even though mines completly standard i am still grinning at the power in it :)

I didnt think it was wise to get a revo or something simular until at least 2-3K miles, but i am not too hot in that department...

enjoy the car

No matter how many I see im still not sure about the new rear clusters.

But glad your enjoying it, welcome to the Fabia vRS club ;)

agree over the rear light clusters...they just don't look...well..'right' to be honest.

still. what a way to go, wasted no time in making the most of it!

I ordered one in black with cruise' date=' xenon's, revo and eibac springs.

I gather the revo map and springs came from JBS and were not part of the deal with the Skoda dealer? Please clarify ;)

Welcome Jonyboy, enjoy your new toy.

Can I second that question about the Revo and Springs, I've seen a few people on here saying that they picked up brand new cars from dealers with this stuff already on it.

My dealer is ignorant of such things and is quoting the Skoda marketing speak like he swallowed the book, which includes the lines on warranties and mods!

Glad your enjoying it! I know what you mean about the 3rd gear wheel spin in the wet, mine has done that to albeit standard.

Mod's fitted from new by the dealer? Top effort!
