ive just had the kw v3 coilovers fitted with them being german make thought they would be a better fit? havent driven the car yet waiting to get it back. ive been told theyve lowered it 50mm from standard. anyone had kw suspension fitted i was told there very good can alter ride height damper and rebound rates. please send any feedback :-)

50mm ! :eek: i will be very surprised if you dont have some issue's on the road with it that low. It will look sweet though, :D

thats good to know the bloke whos fitting them for me swore blind by them thought i would ask around though, i will look for the forum now cheers for your help. i will need to get them set for road use :)

i can get my fingers between arches and wheel hes told me its 50mm the arches dont go over the wheels, you think there will be problems? wot ideal height should it be lowered from standard? im just worried for speed bumps

Thanks for all the pointers, I will certainly look at getting the suspension sorted. Anyone know decent suppliers and fitters in the NW I can visit, I like to have that old fashioned face to face discussion! :)

Try speaking to KW about just getting some of their rear springs. I was chatting to them at Autosport at the start of the year about differing poundages (I generally carry a fair bit of kit in the boot) and they hinted they'd be willing to sell rear springs seperately. The front Eibach's are fine so why not just try changing the rears to something that's intended for the car? IIRC the rears on their own wouldn't be much more than £50 including the height adjusters. Saves throwing away the money you've already spent on the FSD's which many swear by anyway, even with lowering springs (despite what others say).
