16" Steel Spare

Recommended Posts

I'm trying to find a second one that I can use on track days (with decent tyres fitted), but they all seem to go for silly money :D

make me an offer and you can have mine , sans new tyre

Thanks a lot, thing is I'd need to arrange postage as well unless we crossed paths somewhere, unlikely given the distance away from one another we are. Not sure it would be worth it by the time it had been transported too? :)

Why do want two steel spares for the track?

You should have seen the state of my alloys after the last day, I was very glad I'd sealed them with wheel sealant the day before and had facilities to wash them off as soon as I got home. They still have some brake pad resin stuck to them now.. :D

yeah but you're a perfectionist! ;) mine are pretty much covered in brake dust all the time and have no ill effects (ish)

oh and i have an unused steelie in the boot i'd probably swap for one of your spare alloys :P we'll discuss on on the day

Not a perfectionist, I'm just planning on keeping the car for a long time (or am I, a new Scirocco is tempting.. hmmm...) so need the wheels to look reasonable for a while ;).

And swap a steel for an alloy? Bugger off
