hi i am doing a bit of playing with my black o3 octy vrs i have fitted a s3 inlet twin intercoolers etc , any way my question is there is a sensor that is fitted in the back of the k04 turbo and the wire runs arond and bolts under the inlet manifold on the end is like a black box with a plug on it does any one know what it is and will i need to use it cheers

How difficult was it to fit the S3 twin intercoolers? Did you use the oem bottom cross pipe? I've got the bits to do this to my 4x4 so really interested in how easy it was to do.

wouldnt it of been easyier to fit a front mount ???

what k04 is it???

its a ko4 023 ie the better one from a s3 . all the pipe work fits the metal pipe has to be mount a bit diffrent but lines up . just want to know what the sensor is in my post , people might say im wasting my time but i just wanted to have a play and show people its not that hard to do as so far its been pretty straight forward fittiing , will be fitting the s3 rack the week end, it will be off to see will @ touque perfomance soon once its all together and see what we get out of her

dont no what the sensor is mate but as far as the k04 setup your right its not hard to do very easy infact.. and you always have the chance to get the k04 hybrid:D 280bhp here we go:D:D:thumbup:

good luck p.s isnt it recommended to get the best you should have the front mount as even the twin coolers are poor:thumbup:

i have had a good search about and with the results i think the twin inter coolers are just as good as a front mount ? i dont think i would bother spending loads on having the turbo hydrid not for about 20 bhp been told i should have about 260 265 out of this set up

thats about the norm for a k04 setup bt im sure you will find the the front mount will be alot more efficient compared to the twin cooler setup imo ( im no expert lol)

i no what you saying about the hybrid for 20 bhp but your only getting 20bhp with the k04!!!! compared to a fully tuned k03s.....

also if you just went for a k03s hybrid you would get the same figures but not need to change the manni or downpipe:thumbup:

which is prob the way i want to go to keep the low down power and not have 7days of lag lol

my mazda is more laggy than that and only makes 150bhp
