"started losing oil" sounds like a dud as well unfortunately.

Think we should get ourselves round for "a viewing" and make him think about what he's done!

I mean why in the world would you do something like that! It just doesn't even look right with the yellow... they should be sterilized I tell you!!!!

Its why i had a bid on it. Ill rescue it!

Good lad! It bloody needs it!

I've just noticed what he's done to the wheels!!!!!!

yeah .. i looked at the aerosol canned wheels with envy..

why didnt i think of that :rotz:

how about that rather lovingly sprayed engine.

MMMmmmmm nice

It is actually quite sad really... I mean this guy obviously doesn't realise how special a car that is he has and has modified it without any regard for that.

The even sadder thing is that he isn't alone in this felly fun modding business and there are plenty of other fun's that have been de-faced in a similar manner although normally with a bit more taste!

This would be like me finding a Felly L&K on ebay that some little scroate and got his hands on and "modified" it!

Yup... absolutely appauling. I mean It wouldn't have cost anything to put some newspaper on the other parts of the engine and mask off the tyres. I understand that it does cost money to modify and restore things but at least be tidy with it. The money he spent on that awful respray he could have had the wheels refurbed and the rust round the rear struts sorted out!

Hopefully Vilguy will get it nice and cheap and get it looking something like it should!

Phil

That is crying out for a 1.8T in the back.

That should be on TV...."When Funs Go Bad"!

Will someone rescue it???

easiest way to rescue it would be set fire too it, and put it out of its misery!

But as its using oil, its probably trying to kill itself anyway.

Ive got a set of wheels for a start that will sort those out.

Did anyone else see that tidy 1.9 cube van btw (i know off subject) for 500 notes it looks quite tidy!!! Id love a diesel in mine :( and i know how pathetic that sounds haha.

Not pathetic at all... My dream would be a nice tidy fun with a PD130 slapped in... I think awesomesarah also shares this vision!

Phil

I'm quite tempted... I know a painter :D

damn ive been outbid, obviously 20 notes wasnt enough to seal the deal

is that you outbidding me babs

Ill respond!!! £22!!!!

i pushed the boat out... we're now at £26

£25 more than its worth.

it better have a full tank of fuel in it for that!!!!!

I sent them a message as i wouldn't have minded this for a project car. Wang a donor 1.6 in on carbs and have a bit of "fun".

I asked regards the oil leak. Reply was that it is bad and the oil warning light comes on every four days when topped up.

Leaks from the windscreen and the rear bit doesn't seal properly due to someone trying to pry it open.

There is also rust and dents of varying severity......hmmm.

I might stay away from this one. Would probably eat a lot more money than one first thinks.

I already have a 1.9 diesel feli pickup so i might just carry on with that.

Shame really.

yeah everyone STAY CLEAR.. DO NOT BID

cos i want it :o

I also want it lol

Is that aimed at me ;-)

Cheeky swine.

Just passing on the response i got from the questions i asked. I would only take that on if it stays mad cheap. Otherwise i might as well wait for a nice one. Would work out cheaper.

Has he just sprayed the wheels with the tyres on??

Perfectly salvagable methinks. :rubchin:

I was just thinking that lol!

I've got a garage and a fair amount of free time, so would be an ideal project :)

Get it done. Someone should save this :-) I saved my pickup. Was sat with the badly prept paint just flaking off (council sprayed it white) and now its nato green :-)

The kit itself is worth a fortune so its worth a punt. Someone fancied buying the kit for their VW (felicia) pickup and got a quote from skoda. pretty cheap!!

lol.

Thats not the skoda your looking for *waves hands like obiwon kinobi... or whatever hes called*

... damn.. my powers of the force dont work:rotz:

Has he just sprayed the wheels with the tyres on??

And yeah.. its the latest enviromentally friendly way or spraying. Saves using electricity to power a compressor to pump the tyre back up after refitting you see.

The silver paint also reflects uv rays and stops heat being absorbed by the tyres, making them last longer, reducing the cars overall carbon footprint....

Something like that anyways.

Your powers are wasted on me...... i am your father..... well i'm not but.

I get paid on the 29th and this ends on the 31st. Bugger lets hope i come to my senses as i really don't want this parked outside. Well not in that state i don't.

Environmentally friendly. The CFC's should deal with that pesky ozone layer.
