Featured Replies

no it does nt dim when lights on, not sure if it wired proper as it all works and can change the 7 colours it has, but always goes back to 1st colour(white) when key taken out and put back in and switched on.

not to bothered but would like to only work when i put lights on and have memory of colour i last used, im after a pillar pod gauge holder(just the holder) if anyone has one, will swap for normal gauge holder plus another gauge i have/60mm electric.

PM me and we ll meet up. or ill buy it if its cheap.

if its a swoosh gauge mine was doing this you need to hook it up to both ignition live and constant live to save its setting

Serious guys this is keeping me up at night now! I have a VDO boot gauge, it's plumbed in and working fine - problem is the electrics- Lummox posted on another thread that pin 2 on the headlight switch is an 'ignition live'. Excellent! I pulled the headlight switch out and was hoping to see number 2 on one of the 'blocks' but nothing!

Does anyoneknow which colour wire I need to tap into? Secondly my VDO boost gauge has 2 electrical connections on the back (prongs). One of them is for the live but does anyone know what the second will be? Could it be a 'ground'. I know the polarity doesnt matter but this second connection has me stumped?

Any help would be much appreciated then I can get some nice pics up.

John
