Last time I was in China, I didn't ge the chance to make it to Jinli street. This time, Yu took me and there was a really nice atmosphere with a nearly-genuine authentic classic Chinese feel to it. Only the Starbucks coffee and fast foods spoil it

Anyway, here are a few of the better shots

The stalls are locked up by covering the shop front in individual planks of wood, and the last is padlocked to make it secure.

And finally, once away from all the touristy appearance, you still get an idea of poverty and begging. This is a blind man who busks playing a Chinese harp of some kind I think (he's just putting it away)
