Welcome to Briskoda, might be a idea to post this query into the Fabia 1 section.

Thread moved to fabia 1, welcome to the forums

Hello, who fitted the 'new' mounts this time round? As id say its almost impossible for you to knacker a full set of engine mounts in a month or so.

I sheered (sp?!) off the drivers side mount on the engine in Sept. down @ Santa Pod last year, replaced it myself and its still going now and mine has seen some abuse.

However I believe there are two mounts than can be uprated on the 1.9 engine, one is the dogbone mount, not 100% sure on the other if im honest.

Also, be aware that the gear box mount under the battery is a known weak spot that Skoda issued a service bulletin about telling service engineers to just grease up if not physically broken to stop the knocking noises .
