What Evo Mag Issue?

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I'm trying to find out which Evo Magazine issue (2009) had a large feature on the 'Nurburgring' so I can back order it. Does anybody have the issue and can tell me what one I need to order. I'm sure it was May / June but just want to make sure as the publisher doesnt have it to hand to check.

Thanks for the help, John

I can look later for you

Steve

yeah or me - as i have all my back issues, about 5/6 years worth, on a shelf - much to the annoyance of my other half! :D

Be awesome if you could guys, I'm sure it was one from within the last few months. John

Was in an article can you remember, or a pull-out guide?

I think it was more of a pull out thing or kind of large main feature.

really appreciate you looking bud

No worries. Well we're at 134 this month, and I've gone back to 128-ish and can't see anything unless I'm being blind.

That's why I was thinking it was maybe a pull-out guide, and I've put it somewhere :)

Cheers,

Steve

Thanks Steve it must of been a pull out feature then, if you cant find it though no worries! I've pulled out last years Redline 'Ring' edition till I track it down.

John

there was one in there John I remember it

there was feature the lap records etc along with a map anotated by the drivers about the feature corners

With the first round of the Briskoa Forza League I completely forgot yesterday  but will have a rummage tonight

Yep, I can remember it too! I'll have put it somewhere for future reference

Now, where would that place be?

If I find it I'll let you know.

Cheers,

Steve

Thanks guys, Steve - at least you'll get your moneys worth as you're bound to read it again when you find it!

John the one I was thinkin of was actually November 2008 - issue 123 (so close Wardy!! :)) that has the shoot out between MC12, Enzo, Zondas F, Carrera GT, Koenigsegg CCX but nothing detailed about the circuit.

However a scan through older issues found that issue 82 (August 2005  i don't know why i keep them either) contains the below

hope this helps!

If Evo can't help you with a back order I could always lend you my copy if you promise to be very nice to it and return it unharmed (you'd think i was joking!!) or alternatively if it can wait until monday I can scan/copy all the relevant pages and email/post them to you! :D

Thanks bud - I cant tell you how much this has been bugging me trying to find the issue number! I'll give Evo mag' a call tomorrow and see if they can sort me out with a copy - would be good to have it! Really appreciate the offer of you sending me yours though:thumbup:
