Civic Type-R?

  • Author

£4,000 gets you a very tidy, low mileage 200SX too... drifttastic!

200sx could be fun ! :D

Civic Type Rs aint gonna be up to much in your price range...i was looking when i had to find a replacement for the Fabia, but it was only CAT D's that were falling into the decent price range.

Considered a 172 Cup, but no air-con. :(

FIAT coupe 2.0 20v turbo

How about .... Audi A4 Avant 1.8T

That's a shame.. I have seen 2 year old Type-R's with very tatty interiors.

The non-cups generally have air con. I'd idealy like a 182 with Recaros, but they're rare.

200SX does look like a good idea at the moment!

No, horrible looking things!

Erm... ?

I like the Coupes...

I thought Type-R too but then I looked a bit older:

VW MK1 GOLF GTI 1983 on eBay (end time 12-Aug-09 18:53:22 BST)

Looks ok... massive SceneTax™ in that car though, the engine is very tatty, and the paint doesn't look that good!

Slightly over budget...but:

Ford : FORD RACING PUMA No. 290

I know they're meant to be good, but Puma's are a bit... well.... :gay:

but this one has big arches :D

True... Puma's also have horrible Fiesta interiors :( And are tiny inside!

mondeo st220 or the LE st200?

subaru legacy turbo?

im in the same boat as you, same sort of budget, wanting same sort of thing, thats what ive been looking at

ST220's not a bad shout either!

Not a fan of Scoobs, though.

It's harder to find something than you'd think it would be, isn't it? :(

That maybe so but they're so great its performance is (almost) comparable to a 330i :P

Yup! :(

Forerunners are the Mondeo (purely for the semi-luxo-barge-ness and getting one-up on my dad who's got a 2.0 Zetec) and the 200SX because as those of us who played Forza last night will agree, I am a drift king

Wow, seriously quick!

It seems as if Puma drivers have a similar mindset to Fabia vRS drivers...

tax band on the st220 put me off andy , its in the £450 a year band

Cheap and a laugh but maybe not all that different is a 306GTI 6

More fun and not really practical (Particularly the SE 2000)

Auto Trader UK - WESTFIELD SE 2.1 Ford Pinto Engine

Auto Trader UK - WESTFIELD SE Westfield SE 1700

Auto Trader UK - WESTFIELD SE 2000

I don't think I'd fit into a Westfield

That's true.. but it's still a lot of car for the money. And it's a no-go for the MX-5 for well documented reasons ;)

That's a good idea!

I've got it saved on my Sky+ box :D

It's not far off that, was alright. Didn't like the colour though. The smoothed black one that they looked at was lush!

There is a silver one on there now- 999- you now what you need to do

There's only one... that silver one isn't a Cosworth, it's a 6-cyl :(

And the black one's an auto :thumbdwn:
