That's quite tidy, same steering wheel as a Carina by the looks of it

My other option is buying something cheap and throwing money at mods?

Think of it as a 2 door Carina with a bit more grunt ! :D

Downside at buying cheaper/throwing cash at it is, you'll never see the cash again !

Just saw this for sale :)

Incidentally the garage also had a DB5 for sale

29780.attach

tax band on the st220 put me off andy , its in the £450 a year band

mx5 mate love mine

only the cars built after march 2006 are i think, i had a look the other day at a 52 plate, dvla said tax was £150 a year, checked an 07 plate and that was £405

I think the 200sx/300zx are the best ideas on here so far.

In terms of fun, how about a Nissan Pulsar?? :) bye bye Clio.

It's hard finding a decent one that doesn't have an exhaust the size of Mars

I would love a Mk2... would prefer a few more creature comforts though. And I can't get classic insurance till I'm 25!

FTO, SMART ROADSTER, Cappuccino (If you can fit in one).

Or a MK2 MR2, then put a v6 in it Woodsport - Toyota Engine Conversion Specialists

I'm 6'1" and 18stone... so anythng made by Smart is a bad idea!

Never been a fan of the MR2... would suit my Dad though!

I've put a deposit on a new car, hopefully picking up this weekend! Pics will be in member's rides when I pick it up :D

I was a bit late in suggesting a Volvo T50 ( Fast, comfortable, spacious, and must be reliable as the police like them )

integra type r...

the most fun and has to be one of the best handling fwd cars you can get and theyre super reliable.

Golf VR6.......

Oh wait................... :D

300zx - absolute dog of a car, always having issues with blown engine, gearbox/turbo, and they are also hugely expensive if you want to have a garage do any work on them, due to lack of space etc in the engine bay

200sx- bit overated to be honest, not really all that quick as people think standard, also dont handle all that well standard

Pulsar- hmmmm, fast, but generally a bit of a shed

Integra- great idea, VTEC, low price, regarded as the best FWD handling car on the market

What about an early Evo? there is normally a few cheap ones kicing about

Mitsubishi : EVO 4 FOR SALE NO TYRE KICKERS APPLY

You could get a mint Rover coupe turbo for about £2k, great fun car, easy to work on etc, cheap to fix (and everyone on the rover forum is super enthusiastic and helpful, i went to the 'ring with them)

Renault 5 Gt turbo, old skool boy racers car, but there is still some minters about for £3k

I see someone also said corrado, thats a mint idea, love them, problem is they are all crazy mileage now
