Rubbish off road

Oh dear, fat tyres, traction control that won't switch off fully & a rather muddy field.

Even the LandRover thst was towing us out of the festival yesterday got stuck twice.

About to go to on an airport run, will take some photo's of a not very clean car!

Yeah, it was good "clean" fun!!

It was the Y Not festival in Derbyshire,

we went purely for The Boxer Rebellion,

SWMBO flew in Friday evening & home on Sunday.

So we're not easily deterred by a damp field!

Good lad... although poor effort really as there's not much on the roof and rear section... must try harder!

Agree with the colour coded grille though... doesn't quite look right in silver...

I like the silver, makes the car easier to spot in car parks.

Otherwise kids in VW Golfs would reverse into it without seeing it!

(hmm, maybe it's not that effective then)

Oh & I keep getting funny looks as I drive it about

(yes even more than normal)

however, everyone is leaving me loads of space.

There's a car show this weekend, I might clean it AFTER that!

can you do the "painting the inside of the headlights black" thingy on the Mk II???

erm ... dunno ...

not sure I've seen a mk1 with that though

Does it stop people pulling out of side roads directly in front of you?

I wouldn't mind some of those special extra lights,

could you lend me some from your company car? ;)

Well I've just been to the local Yeti roadshow.

I do like them.

Salesman .. "do you do much off roading"

Me; Pointing to car outside "does it look like it"

Salesman "well the 4x4 system is ..."

Dealer gave it a free jetwash whilst I was there

:grumpy: totally ruined the look now.

Still I could go for a drive to try to get it dirty again
