iPhone 3GS retailers

Featured Replies

Apart from the carphone warehouse, are there any other retailers that sell the jesus phone on the high street?

Looking to get a 16gb 3GS but phones for you say they don't do them at all. Only been in CPW so far that actually does do them.

Cheers

O2 store?

O2 store?

Just called my local branch, they haven't got any in either. :(

Perhaps you'll need to travel farther afield to find one in stock.

The Apple stores flog those things too.

Thanks for the advice guys. Got one reserved in a store half an hour away. Off to collect it first thing in the a.m.

I am not sure i will sleep tonight. lol

Any advice for which apps i should definatley get???

There are loads of them, some really cool too. I'd start with a couple of the free ones such as -

Sky News

Google

Google Earth

PayPal

Facebook (if you use it)

eBay

TV Guide (Sky Remote Rec App)

Paper Toss (Addictive game)

Some good paid ones -

Punch o Meter (Bar style punching game)

Darts

Ocarina (Makes your phone a musical instrument)

IM+ (Covers most IM platforms)

National Rail (Train info)

MXTube (Download and save Youtube vids)

Probably not appropriate to discuss getting things out of jail here, google can help if that's what you want to do.

Surely after a year you can't still have a bee in your bonnet about it can you? Or should I have got a blackberry this time also. In your expert opinion. Lol

No bee, I just find you funny. The IPhone is a great piece of kit and is far better than any Blackberry in a lot of ways. I hope your very happy with it :)

the only downside i can see on the iphone is the battery, however apart from that im glad i have one.

I've always been quite impressed with the iPhone 3g's battery given what a flexible, powerful device it is. That said, I was running 2.0.1 firmware until last month which may well have given better battery life than the 2.1 and 2.2 that most people would have upgraded to. I've not really paid enough attention to the battery life on 3.0.1 to say if its any worse.

The feeling is mutual ;)

Thanks for the info in the tethering thread though. Very interesting.
