Apologies if this is in the wrong place (1st post)

I have recently purchased an A reg Skoda Fabia elegance and for love nor money i can not get rid of the ruddy traffic updates and so every 5-10 minutes the radio/cd gets interuppted with someone reversing out of their driveway etc?

HELP PLEASE

Love to all

Press the TP button, and they should go away.

I know on most after markets i've had you have to hold in the tp/ta buttons for a few secs to turn the buggers on/off

I have done my friend unfortunatly the tp sign in the top corner of the display doesnt dissapear and neither does the updates?

Also read through the manual and it tell you 2809285402349 things about what you can do with the tp updates but not 1 instruction on how to turn the thing off.

Hope someone can help

What about pressing and holding the TP button for a couple of seconds.

What model of unit have you got? It differs depending on model

Kwacka - Its a Skoda Fabia IV test class if that helps

The radio on my vRS has buttons for A/F and TP. They both appear to allow FM channels - the only difference appears to be that if you use the channels from the A/F button you don't get travel news.

I assume it's a private plate if it's an A plate?

not sure what that is, but if you have an A/F button try pressing that
