Help With My VRS ***PLEASE HELP****

Featured Replies

I have a Fabia VRS on an 06 plate i have only had it a month and i love it. However, there seem to be a few small things i'm not to sure about.

For example when i turn left there is a rubbing noise coming form the front of the car, sounds like a flat tyre but i have checke pressures and they are all within regulations, and its only when i turn left.

Also when its cold and i change from 2nd to 3rd and re apply power there seems to be like a flat spot for a split second, is this normal as everything else works fine.

Please Help

Thanks in Advance

Flat spot, the infamous "stutter", is normal if it's happening at just under 2000 rpm.

Someone with more knowledge than me will have to comment on the other issue.

might be the tyre rubbing on the inner wheel arch liner, although there should be a bit of space between the tyre and liner

is it running the right size tyres/wheels?

This is happening to me as well mate.If i give it some in 2nd then there is no flat spot, but normal driving, it feels like the engine just dies temporarily!

My 07 vRS did this. I took it into the Skoda garage and they changed the infamous gasket under warranty. OK now.
