Got Vagcom. What now

Featured Replies

Just got my vagcom cable today, Genuine one.

Done a scan and no faults which is great. Id like to do the boost log and set the doora to lock above 15mph. Where do i find out how to do this? Can somone point e in the right direction.

You've also got the Ross Tech website and Wiki.

Save an autoscan of all the control units for reference before you alter any control unit codes.

I'm in a similar position to the OP actually, apart from the boost log.

What do you mean by "save an autoscan"? You don't mean the generic "autoscan" here to check for fault codes, do you?

Yes if you do a full scan of your car and then save the file you'll have a backup copy of your original coding.

That's quite straight forward.

Select the Central Convenience Module

Go to Adaption

Scroll through the channels and you will find Auto-Lock on one, and Auto-Unlock on another.

Change each of the values from 0 to 1 and then click Test. Save each in turn and hey-presto you've done it.....
