Hi all

Just wondering if anyone would be interested in attending this meet? It's for all VAG cars and as yet, I shall be the only Skoda attending. Would be good to get a few of us together here to show the VW/Audi/SEAT boys that we can have just as good a turn out!

I must see how wealthy I feel at the time. Its gonna cost me a bit to get to the NEC meet, so I could be feeling the pinch by the end of June. Must start saving some $$$ for my insurance in August too :( I'll let you know if I can make this one too.

Nottingham is only a few miles north of Leicester isn't it? I must look at a map and find the exact location. If its not that far from Leicester, I'll see if I can stay with the relations again. I may even have lowered the car by then too. Put me down as a 30/70 (30 going, 70 not)

Seriously though, If I am free that weekend count me in, I will bring Bandit Junior (2.5 Year Old Demon on a Bike) as Wollerton park ia great Venue for the kids.

My Wifes Brother may be going anyway as he is seriously into his VW's. He currently has a concours LHD G60 "Wolfsburg Edition", Very Quick but also Very Uncomfortable.

I knew its was close'ish. I remember visiting the Robin Hood museum, but I wasn't a driver and I can't remember the distance. I've looked on streetmap, and its not far, so if I feel wealthy I'll come.

I'm up for that. Seeing as you will be attending mine, the least I can do is to attend, as well as it being of interest anyhow.

Pretty sure at this point that I am not doing anything, so will pencil it in diary.

Slowly creeping up on us now. 2 weeks away. I'll defo be there. So far it looks like there is the possibility of around about 5 of us going along which isn't too bad at all.

As Graham (Bandit1) says, theres lots to do for kids. So i'll be ok then :p

Yeah, sorry. It is the 29th of June. Got my weekends mixed up!

It is a general VAG meet for all Audi/VW/SEAT and of course Skoda. Was just seeing if any one would be interested in getting a few Skoda's in on the whole VAG scene and show the rest of them what good motors are being churned out by the so called budget side of VAG. I personally think they are alot better than SEAT.

Will try to get a new up to date link up when I get home. Am at work at the moment.

Better be off before the boss catches me!

I'm not going to be able to come to this meet now, which is a bit annoying. I'm planning to spend a month in the South of France, probably all of July, helping a mate doing up a derelict farmhouse he's just bought. Should be fun. I only hope he's taking their laptop and the house has phones for me to keep up with my Briskoda'ing. (Admit it! You'll all miss me if I didn't post for a whole month!)

Good Luck with the job, there are some excellent roads in the Peak district for driving (& Cycling) all starting around 2 miles from the doorstep !!
