de-badge the rear skoda emblem?

i'm wondering if i remove the rear skoda round badge, will this leave a smooth panel, or are there badge locating holes?

there are certainly holes under the badge on an Octavia I, so I suspect it'll be the same on the Fab...

I've just searched and yes you're right, it's got two locating holes behind the badge.
