Citroen Handbrake Fail!

Featured Replies

was it just me or did anyone else think her mum looked hard as nails! would not like to be the person who sold her that car lol

I asked a guy who has just purchased on and he confirmed there was an interlock on the key on the ones he test drove.

Assuming that is the case across the board it sounds like the keys had been left in the car.

Just got back from Benlech were this happened, and the B&B owner where we were staying was telling me the car is...as far as he knows...still in the sea, as the insurance company aren't too happy about footing the bill to drag it back up the cliff.

Apparently the car took 2 tents down, fortunately with no one at home at the time, on it's route down the site before plunging over the edge.

If the brake system is anything like the Laguna's, you have to have the ignition on first, footbrake pressed and then press the button to release it.

Did this girl perform all these tasks I wonder?
